Pricing is time-based, billed on the actual hours worked and broken down up front, so a single-painting move costs exactly what a single-painting move takes. Framed paintings, stretched canvases, prints, large mirrors and glass tabletops. Glassine or acid-free tissue goes against the surface first, then corner protectors, then a telescoping picture or mirror carton sized to the frame. Everything glass gets a taped X across the face and rides upright, strapped to the truck wall. Nothing fragile ever lies flat under weight.
China cabinets, grandfather clocks, antique dressers, marble and stone tops, sculptures and ceramics. Old joints and veneers don’t take stress the way new furniture does, so we blanket-wrap every surface, remove and pack glass doors and shelves separately, and crate anything stone or seriously delicate. If a piece has a story, we move it like it does.
Don’t want to pack the delicate stuff yourself? Good call. Our crew brings dish barrels, cell kits for glassware and stemware, picture boxes, mirror cartons, bubble wrap and packing paper, and packs your fragile items by hand before the truck is loaded. A pre-wrapped print takes minutes. A gallery wall of 15 framed pieces takes a couple of hours to wrap, box and label properly. Packing you hand off to us runs on the same hourly rate, never a separate fee.

Walk the house with your phone and shoot each painting, mirror and antique from two angles. It’s your condition record, it helps your quote, and it tells us exactly what gear to bring.
Bubble wrap against an oil painting or a gilded frame can imprint the finish. Glassine or acid-free tissue goes on first, always. If you don’t have it, leave the piece on the wall and we’ll wrap it right.
A painter’s tape X across the face won’t stop a break, but if the worst happens it holds the shards together and protects the frame and everything packed around it. Two minutes well spent.
Framed pieces and mirrors travel standing on edge, never flat. Anything laid flat becomes a shelf for other cargo. If you pre-stage pieces for us, lean them on a wall, glass facing in.
A television travels best in the box it came in, foam and all. We carry TV cartons for our Samsung deliveries when the original is gone, but if yours is in the garage, pull it out.
Contents come out, every shelf. Stemware and china go in dish barrels with cell kits, and glass shelves get wrapped separately. A cabinet moved with anything inside is a cabinet that arrives rattling.
“Fragile” and “this side up” on every face of the box, not just the top. Boxes get turned in a truck. Big marker, all sides, so the box is handled right no matter which face is showing.
The Lower Mainland is damp most of the year, and a cold garage or storage locker swings temperature and humidity daily. Canvas and antique wood both hate that. Keep art inside the house until move day.
An oversized canvas that came in through a window won’t leave down the stairs. Measure your largest piece and the narrowest doorway or landing on its route, and tell us both when you call.
Tower moves need the service elevator reserved, usually in 2-hour windows, and weekends fill first. Fragile work rewards a fresh crew and daylight, so ask for the morning and call 5 to 7 days ahead.
Picture the job we see most. A condo high up in one of the Surrey City Centre towers, a large mirror, a glass dining table and a wall of framed art, all headed to a detached house across the city. Tower moves start with logistics. The service elevator gets booked and padded, the concierge gets our arrival window, and the crew walks the route from suite to loading bay before a single piece is wrapped.
